Phoenix Golfers Association
The Phoenix Golfers Association was founded in 1964 with the mission of bringing golfers together in a relaxed, informal but competitive tournament environment. Today we have over 100 members strong and we continue to grow at an accelerated pace.
We Play One Sunday per Month All Over the Phoenix Metropolitan Area.
Who Can Join
Any avid golfers are welcome to join. We will provide you with a valid GHIN number and a USGA handicap after 5 full tournament results after you will be able to complete in low net.
When Do We Play
We hold at least one Sunday tournament per month at selected courses throughout the Phoenix area. We try to balance between East Valley and West Valley course locations.
What Does It Cost
Annual membership dues are only $95.00. All members will have $45 of their membership fee applied to maintaining an official USGA handicap with the Arizona Golf Association.

Handicap
Members will be assigned a unique local membership number for their AGA handicap. This is the number that will be used by the member to access his AGA handicap account where he will post scores. read more…

Tournament Prizes
All members are invited to participate in our Low Net Pot for a chance to win additional prize money. This pot is in addition to the Flight Winner money awards. The entry fee is $5 per player. The pay outs will be 50% to the winner, 30% to second and 20% to third place.
Closes to the Pin on All Par 3’s
Closest to the pin optional prize pot. We award cash prizes on all closest to the pin competitions placed on all par 3 holes for each tournament. Markers are placed on the green to record the closest shot. At the end of the day, the golfer with the best tee shot- the one whose ball was closest to the pin- wins the prize.
Skins on All Holes
We award cash prizes for the lowest score on each hole. If 2 or more people have the best score on a hole, that hole is “halved” and no skins is won. The pot is then divided by the number of skins, and winners are paid out.
